Metabolic Effects of the HepTech System:
The HepTech system consists of 3 major components:
- HeptoBoost: an antioxidant formula, with all 24 nutrients known necessary for intracellular manufacture of the antioxidant molecules such as Glutathione. HeptoBoost contains all the known nutrient cofactors needed to activate the function of SuperOxide and Catalase. HeptoBoost also contains the nutrients need to regenerate/reduce the antioxidant molecules such as Vitamin C and Vitamin E, which shuttle electrons to oxidized molecules to quench them.
- HeptoShield: a Phosphatidylethalolamine molecule, which is incorporated into the bi-lipid layer of the cell membranes. The PCP molecule has an unsaturated fatty acid tail, which is incorporated into the bi-lipid layer. The unsaturated molecule is bent, therefore it does not bind well to the straight, unbent, saturated fatty acid molecules in the cell membrane. The weak binding between the straight and bent molecules allows them to slide over each other, resulting in a flexible, healthy, functional cell membrane.
- Fibroguard: a combination of herbs chosen for their ability to protect vital enzyme/protein structures in the cell, and to stimulate the Nrf2 receptors and their resultant production of SOD, Catalase, and Glutathione Peroxidase. These phytochemicals are effective in reducing inflammation in the liver, but given that there are many other inflammatory conditions, they could be used as remedies for arthritis and autoimmune disease. And, since medicine is coming to realize that many of the diseases of aging are based in inflammation, this may be the perfect anti-inflammatory to prevent the ongoing damage associated with age. Doctors and patients have reported anecdotes of successfully using these supplements for dementia (Alzheimer's), arthritis, and high CRP.
